don't like the snow

Location

as a kid

love the snow

seeing the flakes fall from the sky

sticking to the ground

where i use to build a snowman

play tackle football

enjoy the snow fights

now as an adult

i don't like the snow

breaking records of inches that destroy homes

very dangerously slippery

just looks a mess outside

it was told

about global warning

nobody is listening

with all that is gone

are you listening now?

Wow! I like how you take something like snow and find the pros and cons of it from a child to an adult. I like it! Keep writing on my friend.

little something i created

there more depth to this poem than you think

lot more where people should not ignore global warning

Oh! When you were talking about the snow in the beginning as a child, were you refering to snow as harmless and fun. As you got older, as I am trying to understand, you saw bad it was getting and that it is not harmless at all, but that it is a disaster. Snow is very harmless when you are examining it with a simplemind (hence a child), but with a wise mind (the adult) you can see clearly the trouble snow is bringing. Something like globalwarming (the global condition worse than snow) should not be ignored if we can see the harm of something like snow. I hope I got the deeper meaning this time. If not, tell me and I'll dig a little deeper into the poem. Keep writing on my friend.

you have the idea

driving point of this poem is to be aware of global warning

many years ago, scientists warned us and we don't listen

hopefully, people are listening
