Don't get to close you
Don't get to close you might windup attached to something you don't fully understand.
You might give me the wrong impression and create a monster that breaths on revenge.
Don't hold my hands because then I will soon loosen up because I think you care.
As a part so dangerous only knows one thing you really want and it isn't with me.
So why should you get close so you can up and leave when every you want while I seat here and think on why I said I love you .
Making it seem as if it was my doing that made us in such a madness. I told you to step away.
Then you don't have to be here for me or show some type of support because you think I'm someone special.
Don't play with my heart because once your foot tries to step and make it shatter might be mistaken and break your own heart.
Don't get me confused with some hoe because my back is not to be rested on but full aware of my respect for myself.
Back off I warned you because if you are not willing to stay don't pay me no peek a boo visit to ask me how I'm doing.
No reason at all to ask for a small favor to get you back on your feet when you pushed me down and wasn't interested in getting me back on my feet so why must I help you.
So I became ruff and aggressive because I grew skin that wasn't easy to break though because a guy don't know how to treat a lady with classy.
I rather be alone and happy then depressed wondering where he might be.
Yeah guys approach me as they make a u turn because they though they could please me with there eyes and say hey you cute.
Boy peace out I heard that line come back with something new.
Don't get to close to my comfort spot there only room for one guy and the place which is taken from a guy beyond any guy and its GOD.
Don't get to close my friends if you stab me in the back then say we the best of friends .
Turn around because my back has plenty stab up in it and have no room for mistakes but lessons learned .
How friends are like seasons they come and go as they please but it doesn't hurt me because true friends stay like every green and last a century .
I been though heartbreaks that changed my heart into shapes I never heard of because all the missing pieces made it hard to beat.
But one thing that stood by me was my POETRY.
My words are permitted and once I feel alone a poem comes in my head because it makes me analyze the way life can be .
Making it seem foggy but must be seen clean as day.
Might I REMIND you is to stay away.
If you ain't gonna be something positive no need in conversation because how can we all rise in we stand in the same situations and never have a clue to get out .
So what I have learned not to do is scream and shout.I want to be more then a sign that tell you what to do but if your a friends of Imani's you know I LOVE YOU DEEPLY WITH ALL MY HEART.
But those who are no good and cause me pain I have A message you need to read .
