Doctors Again

Location

It happened to them; my dear parents.

They worked as doctors in a foreign country.

They had worked hard, studied, passed tests, saved lives.

A family was started, so they moved to a far off place.

To give their beloved children a better life.

But then the news came,

A new country meant they were not doctors anymore.

The hard work, the studying, tests, and saved lifes are not valid here.

If I could change one thing, it would be to give my parents back their rightful career.

To let them do what they know how to do,

and love to do.

They gave it all up for my brothers and I.

What I would change, would be to make them doctors again.

Doctors again.
