A Doctor

Location

You tell me I need to know this stuff

I know that was a lie

I do not need to know the Transitive Property of Equality

To be a doctor

And I really do not care to begin with

You tell me I need to know this stuff

I can guarantee you that is not the case

I do not need to know metaphors and similes

To be a doctor

And I really do not care to begin with

What I do care about is learning the stuff I need

Learning about the body

Learning about children and their health works

I want to learn about health in general

I don't want to learn about

the circumference of a circle

Or the War of 1812

Or how to read notes on a melodic staff

I want to learn about my future.

And how to get there.
