Do not mourn for the passing rose

Withered now
by times cruel touch
no petal can resist
springs sweet bloom
has been transformed
by summers heated kiss
but do not mourn
for the passing rose
who once in glory ruled
with springs return
the wild rose thrives
in petal once more bejeweled
