Dear Teacher,

To be taught we need to be understood.

To be understood we need you to take the time.

We don't all learn at the same speed like you think we should.

Give us a chance to learn and not act like when we can't it's a crime.

We're doing our best to learn what we can.

But we're not all who someone else tells us to be.

I know it's not up to you so please understand.

I'm not blaming you for what others fail to see.

Give us some time and we just might surprise you.
