Disowned

Mon, 01/22/2018 - 16:18 -- Maxim

On top of a mountain surrounded by snow.
Eyes looking everywhere
where did you go?
My fingers slipped right from your grasped
and led me to my life's last.
Where did you go?

Standing in the darkest gray
Asking pleading please just stay
You drift away
Fade away
To show me my last day

Engulfed in waves of darkness
Alone and left a mess
The day you said you'd stay with me
Was the day I strayed from thee
The night you said you'd give me light
Was the night my eyes lost sight
When in the darkest coldest place
You promised me one thing
To hold my hand when I was alone
Then the only hand I held was only just my own

The hope that once was crystallized
Now is an ever liquidized
And is seeping out my own eyes
Now too late
My soul has died
It's you who choked me with your lies
