Gems and Dimonds

and most of the lot

are smeared and bruised 

by life's dirty plots

so thus we gems 

so thus we diamonds

work from dust

to bring new light 

we are not perfect

that may be

but we are perfect 

for those in need

it is so that

we may never know

the actions of ours

to cure those still in the dust

and shine them into gems

thus removing every crack

with the heat of love

in our every act

now as we evole 

our broken parts

of which we need

come in the time of urgency 

to make us perfect in every way

in so we shine every day
