Hair tied back loosely, face bare but glowing, sweat dripping down my back

I feel the most flawless running

running straight towards my problems

I feel empowering and strong

like a warror princess

only a bit more graceful

I love the many every muscle in my body can ache 

or every fiber tells me to slow 

Yet I contain the power to resist the easy way out

cheeks flushed, hair sweaty, breath jagged

I am more alive than ever before
