hate

is holding a gun between two

eyes of understanding and seeing

your own crooked reflection

cruelty

is walking around with a

weighed pocket full of

"would've, could've, should've"

surrender

is no longer trying to

convince your shadow

you're someone worth following

self

is the release of the

unveiled person behind closed doors

only for a breath of air

love

is looking into those same

eyes of understanding and realizing

those are beautiful eyes
