Devotion

Devotion

Remains a phantom prisoner of

The night

Shivering with life unseen in daylight

Big silver stars

The moon

Masters of disguise

In sterile white uniforms

The methods and mechanisms of control

Disappearing from the streets of Man

In lunar orbit

Lost in space

Love

Should be pockets of daydreams

Simple

Raw smiles that are nothing more than smiles

Comortable silences

Gentle truths

Peeling brittle onion membrane

Eye to eye in naked, gruesome honesty

Everything is here and whole and lovely

Love should be

Symbiotic

Devotion should not be granted

To the night's parasites
