The Devil's Blood
I can still feel the needle peirce my skin
Taste the glass stem between my lips
I can still feel the white girl flowing into my veins
My body going numb, between my ears hearing the train
I'll never forget that warm blanket
That china laid on my body
Or the relief she gave
That not even God could provide
I still have flashbacks to other worlds
That only chemicals could create
I wish that I could find joy in normal things
Things that normal, sane people do
But the only place I can find love
Is in the warm embrace of the devil's blood.
