The strong voice

That proclaims

That I won't give up

Has withered

Into a whisper

That mumbles

I want to live

And people will talk

People will point

There will be laughs

And hurtful names

But who cares

Well we do

But strength

Is caring

And accepting

Determination is

And hurting

But still walking

The will to move

To strive and fight

Even while people

Are crushing

One by one

Piling on your back

You don't need

To carry them

You have a right

To dump them

On the side

Of the road

And leaving them

But my strength

Lies in hurting

And crying

But still stumbling

Even though

It hurts

Even though it

Brings me tears

I stand for me

I care about myself

I will not allow

Anyone to steal

My dreams

I won't let

These tears

Blind my path

I will trudge and crawl

I will stumble and fall

Forward forward forward

Never stopping

I won't rest

I will not fail

I will forever

Pursue my fleeting

Wishes and dreams

On my winding trail.
