Destiny

Doors on either side,

Endless forward and backward.

I need to decide

which door to go toward.

I know what I desire,

But what door it's behind is a gamble.

Knowing which one is impossible,

But deciding to slowly amble

toward an unknown goal is implausible.

Making goals is a necessity.

With your drive to go forward, they give you clarity.

Education is the beginning of my destiny.

Being active in my high school clubs

Math,

    TAME,

          Science,

                 High On Life,

                           Student Council.

Graduating at the top of my class,

Entering college and striving for more knowledge,

I want to do more than pass.

Inside my head will be the storage.

With the beginning comes biology.

Specifics yet unknown;

Neurology, or maybe virology,

The choice has yet to be shown.

Making goals is a necessity.

With your drive to go forward, they give you clarity.

Work is the next step of my destiny.

Working in the lab:

Western blots and tests.

Be sure not to blab

Before the diseases are fixed.

Enjoying it and helping others,

I hope to make a breakthrough.

 Such scientific wonders

To destroy illnesses like the flu.

Making goals is a necessity.

With your drive to go forward, they give you clarity.

Peace, love, and life, should be everyone’s destiny.
