Destined

Location

Sly grins and stolen kisses, one, two, three.

Roasted chestnut hair falling on bronze skin,

Piercing emerald eyes and a sculpted chin.

A heart swells and bellows to be free.

Dead child walking in living fantasy,

A head and heart filled with endless din.

Finally having found an angel akin,

Floating full to the brim upon the sea.

But the dream soon ends, eyes soon open,

The heart is again left alone and abandoned.

As the cold overtakes, wrapping the body

With chills as spirits once again darken.

Each lonely soul for love is destined,

But the unending search leaves one empty.
