Despair

Psalm 88

O Lord God who delivers me,

by day I cry out

and at night I pray before you.

2 Listen to my prayer.

Pay attention to my cry for help.

3 For my life is filled with troubles,

and I am ready to enter Sheol.

"Honey" just trust Him … don’t give up

I read so much for hours and the bible I try to understand

But all have to say is: “I think nobody loves me”

An open door to the heart where hopelessness now stands

Ruling with an iron fist where darkness wants to be

Tears are streaming from the eyes from a heart that’s drowning

All she grasps is helplessness in the stormy sea of life

Forever seems are the goodbyes as the waves are churning

In the confusion of darkness and defeat without strife

Fatalism wraps the emotions of the defeated in a blanket of shadows

Gone now the will to live as the future seems long lost

A heart now is slain on the altar of devotion as the path now narrows

To squeeze the last scream “forgive me” in desperation at any cost
