Luke 1:68

68

“Praise the Lord, the God of Israel,
because He has visited and redeemed His people.

In the middle of the desert dreaming of some snow

If I could swim to the other side would I be cooking off?

An unexpected presence ... a blessing just to know

That I could not see otherwise if I already was above

Burning heat a blessing ... thirst a special gift?

Feeling completely helpless ... a present from The Lord?

No more second guessing  ... intentions not to sift

for I am completely hopeless as I the Ark board

The plank already down ... the Captain quietly smiling

Holding out His Hand that I am too weak to grasp

He places a crown as I am softly crying

As I in Him I stand ... a child and not a guest
