Desires of death

Her sweet perfume dancing through the air
Face frozen and eyes dazed by the movement of her hair,
Back and forth in a smooth swift motion.
Each step was with such grace it caused a commotion
Her eyes shown green so vibrant it could shine in the dark.
Everything about her seemed to light that spark.
That deep desire within to finally be at peace
Our eyes lock and my hearbeat had a sudden increase.
Echoing footsteps drew closer and it became hard to breathe
Face to face and feelings start to seethe.
Her hand stretches out and pulls me in
Arms wrap around her waist with a slight grin
With the sweetest voice she whispered " This is the end"
"When the music stops I shall welcome you home my lost friend."
"I saw your heart full of pain"
"No joy for the world that's disgraced by sins stain"
"Alone in this world my wandering duffer."
"Rest easy my love for you will no longer suffer"
" so home we shall go and warm by the fire"
" For I am death and your precious soul I desire."
