Desire

Hebrews 11:13 New English Translation (NET Bible)

13 These all died in faith without receiving the things promised, but they saw them in the distance and welcomed them and acknowledged that they were strangers and foreigners on the earth.

Take me home my Father … I’ll love to see Your Face

I know I failed so often but I need Your Silent Embrace

When my tears are welling up … let it be for the human race

As blindly it stumbles on … uncertain of the Throne of Grace

“Hold me my Father”, this is my quiet plea

To show others constantly so they may also see

The One, Who guides me and will always be

My security and shield, custom made for me

A personal relationship is the foundation of simple Faith

Given and delivered by the Holy Spirit in every case

During storms He keeps me through each and every wave

As uncertainty and doubts give my mouth an aftertaste

Salvation costs God everything as for me it’s free

It’s not for me to reason why? Just accept and believe

To Share this with the captives, who are just like me

Lost in degeneration and living by how they feel
