In a deserted island with no one but me

In a deserted island with no one but me, what would help me survive?

Would it be my outstanding confidence, my amazing intelligence, or my talent to make tea?

Maybe it would be my simple smile, my sophisticated ideals, or my cute goatee.

But to me, it would be something else, someone important who gives me my personality.

In a deserted island, with no one but me, I need only one thing, my friend Luis.

We’ve known each other since the beginning of a chapter

He’s the one who helps me be myself and not an actor

He’s as bright as a bulb, good enough to keep me away from the rapture

In a deserted island with no one but me, my friend would keep my spirits high.

As funny as Comus the god of laughter, he could rival any Hart

His creativity would use the sand and the sea to make the best of art

With the courage of a lion, he’s better than an odd bodyguard

In a deserted island with no one but me, I could survive with my dearest comrade

He cares more than a lover, and treats like a mother

Together we would walk the island and just look and discover

He would give my life on the island a whole palette of colors

In a deserted island with no one but me, I wouldn’t be lonely with my friend, Luis.

He would give me hope that we could live and survive

Together, in our free time we can think about the world, and just hypothesize

If I ever felt down, he would be there to help me feel energize

In a deserted island with no one but me, a good time seems far from me

But with a dear friend like Luis, good time would be the only times

Going around the island, hunting would be our only crime

When you have a dear friend like Luis, you don’t need the rest of mankind

In a deserted island with my friend Luis, happiness is more than a possibility

Me and Luis versus an island itself

The odds might not be in our favor, but then again, we’ll be ourselves

And together, we’ll live to tell the tale
