Depression (You, Too, Face An End)

Location

There is an end to everything, aye, to what we all hold dear.

Time will pass, maybe goals fulfilled - and still this loss we fear.

It takes away all inhibitions...purpose; and it leaves you all alone

In a crowd of a hundred friends; that is it's cornerstone.

We chat of defining traits, of what it means to live!

The one of which I'd like to add is the one to forget.

How beautiful the soul must be, that carries all that pain -

It strengthens me who marches with, chanting: this is not in vain!

As Night draws nigh, the only power...is this loss to stall.

And as I fight the powers at be!!!....well...

We'll call today a draw.

But know this, Depression:

You, too, face an end.
