Depression Became My Best Friend

Oh sweet, sweet depression.

How are you doing my dear?

You're pulling me down so far,

Down so far I can't hear.

Oh sweet, sweet depression.

My arms become hungry,

As my makeup smears.

Oh sweet, sweet depression.

You came here,

When nothing was clear.

And now I'm stuck,

But I know you'll always be here.

Oh sweet, sweet depression.

What have you done to me?

I can't think straight anymore,

And all of my family is starting to see.

Oh sweet, sweet depression.

I used think life was beautiful.

I used to feel like I was free.

Why have you placed all of these doubts inside of me?

Oh bitter, sweet depression.

I pushed you out,

And now I'm free!

Turns out you were never good for me.

At least now I can finally follow my dreams.
