Depression

Philippians 4:6

Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

Depression

Always searching for a way out ... finding more trouble

Are you going backward... seeing what you sowed?

Never new surroundings ... living as your double

Your life has not changed a thing ... having your past in tow

There is no escape ... self is always with you

Even at your last breath ... you’ll find self hanging around

No matter what you think ... depression always moves

three steps ahead of you ... resting on yesterday’s ground

Dressed up like a clone ... to your own detriment

until you get sick of it ... and you’ll puke every day

It will be all around you ... and hinders every movement

unless you pick it up ... and shove it out of the way
