Depression

Dear depression, you have thrown me around beating me

Throwing darkness in my head right before I went to bed

Playing with my emotions, driving me insane

I gave in a few times letting you take over

But now I have overcome you

Seeing the light in the darkest of places

I took a hand that led me to joy

Seeing the good that I had inside

Helping me beat my demons for good
