Depression

It can slowly sneak up on you like a cat stalking it's prey,

Or hit you head on like a moving train.

It can make you feel as if you're drowning,

Or as if you already have.

It's not a laughing matter and no one will ever understand,

Unless you've been here in this untold of land.

A few signs we humans leave,

Like the cuts on her arms under her sleeves.

Or perhaps its the bags under their eyes from nights with out sleep,

The constand red from the tears that have been shed.

Everyone has issues in their lives but some worse than others,

If you know what it's like i'm truely sorry to say....

But then again you already know its there all the time every day.

Some days are a tad better than others,

The feelings not so dark, just a tad bit of light...

It's never truely gone though.. never out of sight.

If you know how it feels and you know what you're looking for then maybe you can help,

Help the others who feel truely gone..

Lost never to be found,

For depression swallows you whole leaving nothing behind....

Nothing but the blank expressions and sleepless nights,

The crying yourself to sleep,

The girl with the cuts up her sleeve.

So if you know how it feels... ban together.?

Stay strong and maybe one day..

Just maybe ...

Something will go right,

And it wont all feel so wrong..
