Depravity

2 Corinthians 7:10 10 For sadness as intended by God produces a repentance that leads to salvation, leaving no regret, but worldly sadness brings about death.  Depravity

Underlying skin and bones is a mass of darkness.

It is called depravity and no good resides in there.

Born to die is my flesh … or for a moment to exist

To carry the “me” I cannot see for reasons everywhere

A spirit dead is all I had … buried in this body.

The saddest part death in my heart … and I really did not care.

Then came Christ, the One and Only … and shed a ray of light

in the darkness of my soul … in the place that Satan had.

Engulfed by warmth felt unharmed … He took me in His Arms.

Simple love from above as He lifted me out of nowhere.

Now I’m here still some fear … for I hardly understand.

Love so great that cleared my slate and paid all my fare.
