Delivered

1Pe 2:9  But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

1Pe 2:10  Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

chosen

“Purified to Himself His own special people”

Peculiar He made them for His Own Glory only

Cracked and dented vessels in the temple for His Honor

For His Son to be used directly in purpose of the lonely

His thoughts are all important, goals easily understood

Will remove all excuses and our trend to procrastinate

Measured by our efforts to justify sullen existence

Complaining in stubbornness and for His work mostly late

Only through His insistence and the Spirit’s constant prodding

He gets to move His people to the line of battle

Consciences blazing with the pains of imperfection

Wrestling us from coma after we’ve been long scattered

His patience can’t be measured, His longsuffering seems unending

His love beyond understanding, His Holiness beyond reproach

His purity always glowing without measure above creation

The imprint of perfection through the Cross and lasting hope

Always be caught to maintain good works

Constantly be zealous to do what is good

Renewed by the Spirit, Whom we receive abundantly

For without Him all is purposeless and  well understood

To be unfruitful in your walk measures a condition

And mostly in the place where obedience has been in a box

That is hidden from ourselves in a place we choose in darkness

An area full of compromise where our soul and old heart flock

Peacemakers are blessed and always keep on going

In the rhythm of existence the first a Spiritual matter

With guidance from above the second just a motion

That the flesh hungers for in things that do not flatter
