Death Taught Me to be Afraid of Life

Thu, 10/19/2017 - 22:55 -- N.Meram

Let me paint you a picture
I’m sitting on the edge of a cliff
my feet are hanging off
and my hands are placed on the edge
one on each side.
There is a nothing holding me back
from shoving myself off this cliff
and diving face first into the water.
I want to feel alive again.
Letting the salt lick my skin
and consume me whole.
I should tell you that
I have nothing left to lose
By doing this
So don’t be surprised
If I don’t come back up
