Dearest Mrs. Gupta

Our story began in the mid of July

I came to school, I learned how to fly

You taught me of hunger, of pain and of war

That we are all blessed and given much more

And because of this gift, this fleeting supply

That we should give freely, all of our life

Because of your love, your kindness and care

You gave me wings so these gifts I could bear

Inspired and filled with motives and love

You were the reason, you were the dove

But life is so short, an angel must leave

For to lose you so soon, I could not believe

I never did tell you how much to me

You meant and you caused for one to see

You brought me to do much more than I thought

Learning life lessons through the history you taught

Ms. Lindsey, Mrs. Gupta, we loved you so dearly

Be merry in heaven, I'll be there so nearly
