Dear Staring Stanger

Tue, 02/06/2018 - 21:01 -- Candi_

Dear staring stranger,

I am who I am

I am the product of two best friends

I am who I am

I am the daughter of a military man

I am who I am

I am a result of diversity

I am who I am

I am a contradiction of alabaster

A smooth contrast

I am who I am

God made and God fearing

Hard working and diligent

Prompt and proactive

I am who I am

I am a HOSA officer

Creative and dedicated

I was what others divulged

Less than and a nobody

I was hurt

I felt solitary

But I still found joy

I am what I am

I am what God says I am

The head and not the tail

A lover

A dynamic being

A giver

By the grace of God, I am what I am

I am what I chose to do

I am a seeker of opportunities

I am a go getter

A dedicated individual with a thirst to learn

I was what people thought I was, I am what God says I am, I am who I am

Sincerely,

Just Another Face
