Dear School

Dear School,

You're not cool.

Do you take me as a fool?

Is it worth my time

to learn how to rhyme

or even make a chime?

My path

does not involve math

so does it matter if I laugh?

What if I run down the halls?

Will I hear calls?

My name being echoed against the walls?

Sometimes you don't even know what you're talking about.

It makes me want to shout

and maybe even pull my hair out.

They smell.

You yell.

I can tell

this is hell.

No better than a jail cell.

sincerly,

Someone who hates school dearly.
