Dear Mother

Don't tell me you're here,

Here for me,
When all that is seen
Is a stare so blank.
Cover what you mean
With lies you make.
I gave up on the one
Who is meant to care.
Now I'm here waiting
For someone to loan.
I have a decision.
No, I have many.
Head-on collision,
But I won't know how it ends
Until I'm already dead.
'No regrets' doesn't apply
When what is said
Was made to compensate
An apology.
One made too late.
