A lot of the times I remember
Were ones I try to forget
You would tell yourself it was just a spark
But the fire was already lit

I don't know if you tried
But I know you could have done better
So I tell myself I can fix it up
If i write a simple letter

You can't take back what was already done
When everything is all unfixed
You can tell your lies and apologize
But this time I wont e tricked

It's not supposed to be this way
You're not supposed to lie
I don't want you to think I'm rude
So I wont bother to ask you why

I'm building up some bravery
Before people start to discover
I write these lines of poetry
To write to you "Dear Mother"
