Dear Keyboard

Dear Keyboard,

Beautiful letters with a familiar sound
An amazing gift sent from above
There are not enough words to describe
The emotions I feel towards you with you
Though you are only part of a whole
You are the center piece; the heart

You speak with and without words
With confusion and reverence, you become almost humane
You create art without a sound
With you, I hold the world in my hands

You create logic without a thought
With many paths you create
Without you, they crack and break
You hold the manual to life on your heads

Without you, I would likely be naught
Stuck in the past, never wondering about what's to come
Unconcious to the world, perhaps even worse
And thus, I thank you. Thank you.

From, Your Companion
