Dear High School,

What if you taught us how to learn?

Instead of having us memorize for tests at every last turn.

What if you encouraged our individuality?

Instead of having us spout out the human anatomy.

Since when does a letter equal success?

And how do you expect one to learn like the rest?

How do we go from raising your hands to simply go to the bathroom, to managing our entire lives

fresh out of high school?

We're responsible enough to learn all at once seven different subjects

But not responsible enough to pick those very subjects.

We're expected to memorize the perfect square roots

But not capable enough to understand what's in the news.

We're not old enough yet to understand love, or to think for ourselves what's controlling above,

we're not old enough yet for our opinions to matter,

but don't worry, we can summarize Pride and Prejudices first five chapters.
