Dear Fear

Dear Fear,

You are my closest friend

You live inside my head and decide what's best

You keep my grades high so I can follow my dreams

You keep home and safe from all danger

You push people away when you decide their trouble

You stay awake late at night to dictate my next day

You force me to strive for perfection because less is never better

You never let me forget my mistakes

But, I think it's time Fear

For us to go our seprate ways

I've let you control me for far too long

Now, I need to learn to make my own decisions

To live on my own

But, I am afraid Fear

That I've waited far too long

Because I don't know how to live without you

Sincerely,

Your Dearest Friend
