Dear Awesome Elizabeth,

Dear Awesome Elizabeth,

I can't imagine my childhood without you.

Because of all your sacrifices, it will be so much that I am able to do.

Thank God, for our special memories.

Time can't even steal those away from me.

I still remember the time I dressed up in all your beads and hats -

And of course I can't forget the time I covered my hair in all your colorful barrettes.

I loved to hear your stories of how times were different in your day.

But most of all, the courageous ones of how you made a way out of no way.

You could do just about anything you put your mind to.

After all deep down inside, I aspire to be just like you.

You taught me how to bake a sweet potato pie and eat the ingredients at the same time.

You made me feel so special and you were the glue the kept our family together.

You are my favorite person and always will be, for you are the true definition of an angel indeed.

It is amazing how you can still make me happy although we are apart.

Not a day goes by that I don't crack a smile when I think of your generous heart.

What a god-fearing woman, witty and smart.

Although you are on vacation in heaven up above.

My world is awesome today, forever and always because of your love.
