Dear America

Wed, 09/27/2017 - 20:03 -- Maisha

Dear America,

You call yourself great,

but you’re built on ignorance and hate.

Your flag colors are red, white, and blue,

but show us your real colors; don’t hide the truth.

And your media; they feed but they only feed real lies,

and people believe what they see; they need real eyes.

America, how many more mistakes will you make

before you realize it’s time for you to finally wake.

How long was the second amendment supposed to last,

cause right now those rights are just a thing of the past.

America, I’ll be honest; I don’t know what else to say.

You’re proud of corruption; congratulations, USA.
