The Daydreamer

That girl, in the back of the class...

The one looking lost,

Daydreaming,

of things only she can understand.

Things such as peace.

Not just in the world but in people.

 In our selves.

She daydreams of a time unlike any other, a time in which we all live peacefully.

No longer at war with ourselves.
That girl, daydreaming, in the back of the class.

 Of dragons and princes.

Of a world like no other.

That girl, in the back of the class,

Daydreaming of an everlasting and eternal love.

Not just in soul mates, but for our world.

To be worry-free when it comes to passing our world on to the next generation.

That girl, in the back of the class.
Silent.

Daydreaming.

Afraid.

Yet daydreaming of a time in which she will not have to look around her paranoid.

Of a day where she knows she will not be bullied.

Daydreaming of a time in which there term 'bully' will become extinct.

That girl, in the back of the class,

Daydreaming of a day in which she isn't alone.

For a day she can truly say she has friends.

That girl,
Is Me.
