A day at the time

Proverbs 10:25  New English Translation

25 When the storm passes through, the wicked are swept away,

but the righteous are an everlasting foundation.

Sunshine, I met you yesterday before the clouds moved in

You were as refreshing as you were bubbling with life

Someone else did pay for the arrangements of my mistakes

As I was digressing in past visions of sin and uneasy strife

But I received the good news so that in You, there's no defeat

I overcame in Christ that no one ever can take away

So far beyond the pew, wherever I found an empty  seat

Where the Prince of Light joined me to show me The Way

Oh! The gift of Salvation. So freely offered and not always accepted

The advantage of being embraced by the desperate and hopeless

To be delivered from frustration, if you’re not now too distracted

When the call of “The Holy Spirit” comes to invite the very homeless
