Date Night

If we would have gone,

I wouldn’t have felt my heart flutter.

My love wouldn’t have been validated,

I wouldn’t have felt the brush of your lips.

If we would have gone,

We wouldn’t have thrown ourselves under lock and key,

Wouldn’t have been swept into the sea of surrender,

My heart wouldn’t have been re-educated on the true meaning of love…

If we had stayed…

The night wouldn’t had came to an end.

Amore.
