Darkness ... light

Ephesians 1:20

20 This power He exercised in Christ when He raised Him from the dead

and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms

Ephesians 2:6 New English Translation (NET Bible)

and He raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,

Darkness

A spark of light in darkness ... carved in my memory

Once I saw now always there ... still seldom understood

Like a soft call drowned out ... by the world’s agony

with the imprint of forever … surely for my good

Dark is never the same again ... through light’s “pollution”

It will never accept ... this infringement in its domain

It will resist forever ... the intrusion in its nature

and will destroy and kill ... as it happens time and again

It sets a fire constantly … the solemn call of nature

It battles day and night ... to preserve its entity

All that is light offends it ... and will try to remove it

for its existence is not possible ... in Christ’s infinity
