Dark Fire

There was

Fire,

Dark fire,

In his eyes;

A gaze from which

Dark secrets poured

And whispered

Fiery words into

The air between them,

Silent as time

Stood still,

Swallowing up the remnants

Of a mind struck dumb by

Eyes locked on lips and

A dark, desperate flame

Called desire.
