Dare Not

Location

I dare not apologize for my existence

I dare not, I’m flawlessly made

My walk, is flawlessly made

The sway of my hips have affected some

An impeccable stallion is what my hips are

An attention grabbing strut

I demand it

A walk my fathers hate

With the fright that it could catch the attention of a man

Accompanied with those same thoughts

They once gave our mothers

I dare not apologize

Walking got me here

Walking gave my people freedom, stand tall

I dare not let the world sit on my shoulders

or look down in deceit

Shoulders back

chest up

Stand tall

I am flawless
