Damnation and Hope

Location

Oh God, weep upon thy world lost in disgrace,

Bound in the transgressions of her first patriarch

Has set up for lasting rule this false corrupt monarch;

Virtue, love, and humility no longer dwell in this place

With people, whom in their hearts, do evil embrace,

Allow their eyes to be ignorant to the dark;

As the path towards evil and damnation they embark

Banning truth and redemption is their commonplace.

Oh but how there is a glimpse of Salvation!

Its form knows nothing of splendor

By its light can all evil works be undone,

And bring hope and joy to a nation.

Its peace shall forever endure,

If only they can recognize thy son.
