The Damming of the Masses
The societal gap by privatization is widening, a distance of great irreversible length. It’s where the few live in massive fortune, while the rest of us are cast away within the shadows of poverty and debt, an abyss where not even the power of our government has the strength to pull us from. Privatization has trickled onto many schools, my school being a primary example. Whispers of an institution requesting permission to denationalize the grounds of my campus, designed to favor, to sever, to swindle students under the guise of housing a harmonious education conducted by fat cats, with fat checks. Many communities struggle in the midst of this formidable privatization, receiving the stiff edge of it. It is destined to decay our wellbeing, and to hinder the ability to manage, and afford our day to day lives. The future of our upcoming generations hangs by a thread at the cost of those who are insatiable. We are disappearing as we know it, we can bellow and scream and join together to take charge against the immoralities…but the cry of money will always be louder.
