Dagger to my heart

Look at that cold damp bench

guess what  ? that’s my home

A dagger to my heart

that led me to this

The dagger I speak of

my husband put it there

how? I hear you ask

giving his heart to another

 my children gone

another empty feeling

where’s my long necked bottled friend ?

that’s sits beside me

on the darken bench

my drug, mu pain relief

Don’t worry about me

I now live in a hazy dream

On this bleak dark bench

A hug from the bottle is all I need

To take the black cloud away

Look at that cold damp bench

guess what  ? that’s my home

A dagger to my heart

that led me to this

The dagger I speak of

my husband put it there

how? I hear you ask

giving his heart to another

 my children gone

another empty feeling

where’s my long necked bottled friend ?

that’s sits beside me

on the darken bench

my drug, mu pain relief

Don’t worry about me

I now live in a hazy dream

On this bleak dark bench

A hug from the bottle is all I need

To take the black cloud away
