Crumby Figment

Nothing happens unless first we dream.
And indeed I did.
I dreamt,
I hoped,
I wished upon a star,
And I prayed.
I called out for mercy
And begged on my knees,
Crying for some sanity to emerge.
I could see it behind my eyes.
The perfect, pristine, crystal clear
Image of my imagination,
Within my grasp.
Oh please, oh please,
Take into consideration all that I have done
And all that I shall.
Find it in your heart;
Let love meet ends with love.
I can ask no more of you
Than this simple deed,
So one last time is all I can plea.
Please, PLEASE
May I have a cookie?
