A Cruel Tale
We never had a real home
But one day master came along and took us in
It wasn't a kind home
We were beaten
Yelled at
And made to fight
We had to obey every single command
Without flaw
Without hesitation
We didn't know that a home wasn't like this
But we knew this wasn't kind
We were kept in tight spaces
Hardly fed
Sometimes it felt like years before master check on us again
We were near death, every now and then
We were exhausted
But even then master would put us in a ring to fight
We had to kill or be killed
Even if we were spared master would kill the one that lost
We had no freedom
We had no love
We were no longer living
We became the puppets that master wanted
This was our cruel tale.
