Creators, too

Commonplace
themes
though not necessarily
cliche
they've held their
significance
through time...
For the artist,
creative minds,
these are old standards,
reliable touchstones
and fonts of inspiration...
The moon and stars
deserts and mountains,
the ocean-
igniting awe
spurring imaginations
for millennia.
These, as all things
were given existence
by a Supreme Creator
though it is we, artists
who share our
depictions,
our own interpretations
and pay homage
to these natural
glory's.
Our efforts pale-
Still,
to this day
musicians compose,
painters fill their canvases
and poets write-
for we are made in His image
compelled
to create,
to craft,
to laboriously make.
